Eric Joyce MP, ex-labour minister and thug, suspended from labour

I've written here several times about the ex-army school teacher Eric Joyce. He's not a shining star, but his disgracefully blatant pro-labour propaganda whilst a serving officer was rewarded by promotion and a safe labour seat.

And now he's an ex-labour MP now that he launched an unprovoked attack in a parliament of three fellow MP's. One of whom was a labour whip. This apparently drink related incident was triggered because there were too many Tories in the bar. The initial Tory was head butted by Joyce on two occasions which is a bit much. It took five security guards to restrain him and this resulted in broken doors.

This is an utter disgrace. I fear that Joyce will not be charged, even though the attacked say they will press charges. However this is the second labour MP who has attacked people in parliamentary bars, see previous posts.

This isn't right. There is something wrong with the mentality of some MPs. Well some labour MPs. As I've written here before there have been a lot of labour politicos who get into trouble with drink problems.

I'm glad he has been kicked out of labour. I do wonder if he would have if he hadn't attacked a labour MP. However I am sad that this thug will remain a well paid MP even if convicted. So he will remain on. Huge wage and over £200,000 a year expenses.

There should be no place for thugs in our politics.
